Everything UptimeCadet does, step by step. Pick a topic below.

Getting started

The Overview page is your control room: total monitors, monitors currently down, overall uptime, average response time, and the most recent incidents.

Monitors

A monitor is a scheduled check against a URL. Every run stores the status, response time and timestamp.

Create a monitor

  1. 1Open Monitors, then click New Monitor.
  2. 2Enter a name and the full URL, including https://.
  3. 3Choose the HTTP method — GET by default, POST or HEAD for API endpoints.
  4. 4Set the expected status code (200 by default) and the timeout in milliseconds (30000 by default).
  5. 5Set the check interval in seconds. It is clamped to your plan minimum — 300 on Free, 60 on Pro and Business — and capped at 3600.

Check intervals

Free monitors are checked every 300 seconds; Pro and Business every 60 seconds.

History and uptime

Every check is stored. The monitor detail page shows uptime percentage, average response time, recent checks and a chart.

Delete a monitor

Deleting a monitor permanently removes it and all of its check history.

Alerts

Alerts are sent once per transition, not per failed check. You are notified when a monitor goes down and when it recovers — never spammed.

Notification channels

Email alerts are sent from noreply@pulseping.xyz to any address you add in Settings.

Use the one-tap link in Settings to connect the UptimeCadet bot — no chat ID needed. Alerts arrive as direct messages. Paid plans only.

Paste an Incoming Webhook URL and alerts will be posted to that Slack channel. Paid plans only.

Paste a Discord webhook URL and alerts will be posted to that channel. Paid plans only.

Add a channel

  1. 1Open Settings, then Notifications.
  2. 2Click Add Notification: Email on any plan, or Telegram, Slack and Discord on a paid plan.
  3. 3Enter the destination: an email address, a Telegram chat ID, or a webhook URL.
  4. 4Keep the channel Active, then save.

Verifying a channel

The safest way to prove a channel is yours is the verification flow in Settings: pick the channel, receive a 6-digit code on it, and enter the code. Nothing is activated until you confirm. It is available for the paid channels above.

Sign in without a password

Instead of a password, receive a 6-digit code on a channel you already own.

  1. 1On the login page, enter your email and choose where the code should arrive — Telegram, Slack, Discord or email.
  2. 2The channel must already be connected and active in Settings.
  3. 3Enter the code to sign in. Codes are single-use, expire after 10 minutes and allow 3 attempts before you need a new one.

Status pages

A status page is a public URL such as /status/your-slug that shows live status for the monitors you choose. Visitors do not need an account.

Create and publish

  1. 1Open Status Pages, then click New Status Page.
  2. 2Enter a title and a unique slug. The slug becomes part of the public URL.
  3. 3Select which monitors appear on the page.
  4. 4Click Publish to go live, or Unpublish to hide the page again.

What visitors see

A status banner, per-monitor uptime percentage and average response time for the last 24 hours, plus ongoing incidents.

Incidents

An incident opens automatically when a monitor is down and closes automatically when it recovers. Incidents are listed on the Incidents page with a severity level — minor, major or critical.

Billing and plans

Payments run through LemonSqueezy. Plans: Free, Pro at 12 per month and Business at 29 per month. Upgrade from Settings then Billing; changes apply instantly via webhook.

Plan limits: monitors — Free 1, Pro 5, Business 20. Status pages — Free 0, Pro 1, Business 3. Team members — Free 1, Pro 1, Business 5.

Public status API

Your published status page is available as a public, read-only JSON API - no account or API key required. It returns the current status and uptime of every monitor on the page plus any ongoing incidents.

GET https://pulseping.xyz/api/public/status?slug=your-slug

Only published status pages are exposed. Unpublished pages return 404.

Language and appearance

Switch between 7 languages from the sidebar switcher — English, العربية with full RTL, Français, Deutsch, Español, Português and Türkçe. Dark mode follows your system or your manual toggle.
