Each monitor is a small probe that checks your URL on a schedule and records every result. Uptime, charts, status pages and incidents are all computed from that history.
Checks every minute
Pro and Business plans check every 60 seconds, Free every 300 seconds. The interval is capped at 3600 seconds (one hour).
GET, POST and HEAD
Choose the HTTP method your endpoint expects. GET is the default.
Expected status code
Set the status code that means up (200 by default). Anything else is reported as down.
30-second timeout
A request that does not respond in time is marked as failed.
Full check history
Every check stores status, response time and timestamp, so you can always look back at what happened.
Alerts that reach you
Alerts fire on transitions only — when a monitor goes down and when it recovers. Long outages never flood your channels.
